We are leaders in Italy in training for Wedding Planner & Event Manager

WEA Wedding & Events Academy is the first high-level academy in Italy for professional Wedding Planners and Event Managers. It was born in 2010, each academic year provides several training sessions in Rome. In 2018, more than 600 people attended our courses.

WEA is partner of ASSO.EURO.WE.PP, the European Association of Professionals Wedding Planners, the leading trade association in Italy with over 500 members. Our goal is to support you in your career path, with competence, experience and openness.

In the training courses planning, we are committed to two fundamental principles:

  • Innovation in training

    WEA has been aligning training with the real needs of the market since the beginning. Every six-monthly session, we renew the structure of the training course and its subjects.

    We were the first to offer NLP lessons, effective communication and Personal Branding.

    Thanks to our partners we also made Wedding Coaching courses.

    The teaching supervisor is Dr. Elisa Barretta, Manager of the WEA Academy, one of the most recognized professionals of the wedding industry thanks to her efforts to increase the visibility for the entire sector.

    All teachers are professionals recognized in their respective fields with at least ten years of experience.

  • Training on the job

    All the training activities are aimed at connecting the trainees with the job market, either as freelancers or employee for a company of the wedding industry.

    The full training program includes:

    1. A first start with classroom teaching
    2. A second step with workshop where an event or a wedding will be arranged.
    3. An internship in a company of the wedding industry and the chance to work on a real wedding or event
    4. Specialization courses
